Be Safe – Inspect Your Electrics
The components of your home’s electrical system, wiring, main panel, switches and outlets… all have a limited life span. Environmental conditions, such as humidity, can cause components to fail prematurely. The Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC)recommends that your home’s electrical system be inspected a minimum of every 10 years. The National Electrical Code (NEC), which is updated every 3 years, often includes newly developed safety features. These features can be added to older homes to bring them to meet the current code requirements. To help home owners determine the condition of their electrical system we have a 76 point inspection, covering every aspect of your home’s system. An experienced technician conducts the inspection, and discusses his findings with the homeowner on the spot.
